From your weekly bookkeeping to your BAS and year-end accounts, our team keeps your numbers up to date, accurate and ready for whenever you need them. We work in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and BGL360, and we explain what we find in plain English.

Bookkeeping

Good fit if
you’re behind on your books, don’t enjoy the data entry, or want to know your numbers are right without checking them yourself.

Good books are the foundation for everything else: your BAS, your tax return, your cash flow and any conversation with a bank. When the bookkeeping slips, every one of those gets harder and more expensive.

We code your transactions, reconcile your bank accounts and keep your records tidy in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. If you’d rather keep doing some of it yourself, we’ll show you what to do and check it for you.

☑️ Transactions coded and bank accounts reconciled
☑️ Books kept in XERO, MYOB or QuickBooks
☑️ Clean-up of ooks that have fallen behind

Payroll Processing

Good fit if
you have staff and want pay runs, leave and super handled correctly without the weekly scramble.

Payroll has more moving parts than most people expect: pay rates, leave balances, tax withheld, super, and reporting to the ATO every time you pay someone.

We process your pay runs, keep leave and entitlements up to date, and report to the ATO through Single Touch Payroll. With Payday Super now in place, we make sure super is paid on time as well.

☑️ Pay runs processed accurately and on time
☑️ Leave, entitlements and payslips
☑️ Single touch payroll reporting and super paid on time

BAS, IAS and GST Lodgement

Good fit if
you’d rather not wait until the due date to find out what you owe.

Your Business Activity Statement (BAS) tells the ATO how much GST you’ve collected and paid, and often how much PAYG tax you’ve withheld or need to pay in instalments. If you’re not registered for GST, the same job is done on an Instalment Activity Statement (IAS).

We prepare and lodge your BAS or IAS on time, check your GST is right before it goes in, and tell you what’s coming up so a payment never takes you by surprise.

☑️ BAS and IAS prepared and lodged on time
☑️ GST checked before it’s lodged
☑️ Notice of amounts due, so there are no surprises

Year-End Financial Statements

Good fit if
your year end is coming up, or a bank, landlord or investor has asked to see your financial statements.

At the end of the financial year, your records get turned into proper financial statements: a profit and loss, a balance sheet and the notes that go with them. They feed your tax return, and they’re what a lender will ask to see.

We prepare statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders, check them against your records and walk you through what they say, so you’re not handed a pile of figures with no explanation.

☑️ Profit and loss balance sheet
☑️ Statements for every business type
☑️ A walk-through of results

TPAR Lodgements

Good fit if
you run a building and construction, cleaning, courier, road freight, IT or security business and pay contractors.

If your business pays contractors for certain services, the ATO wants to know about those payments each year. That’s done through the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR).

We pull the contractor details and payments from your records, prepare the report and lodge it for you. If your records are missing contractor details, we’ll tell you early, so it isn’t a scramble at the deadline.

☑️ Contractor payments identified from your records
☑️ TPAR prepared and lodged
☑️ Missing details flagged early

Questions We Hear A Lot

Bookkeeping is the day-to-day recording: coding transactions, reconciling bank accounts and keeping records current. Accounting uses those records to prepare your BAS, financial statements and tax returns, and to advise you. We do both, so your numbers only need to be handled once.

Most small businesses lodge quarterly, but some lodge monthly depending on turnover and what the ATO has set for you. We'll check which applies and keep track of your due dates.

The Taxable Payments Annual Report shows the ATO what you've paid contractors for certain services, such as building and construction, cleaning, courier, road freight, IT and security. If that sounds like your business, you probably need one. We'll check, and lodge it if you do.
